I recently received a parking ticket for parking on the street. My brother in law went overseas to visit his girlfriend. He had to leave his car over at our place. We didn’t want to pay for parking so we decided to park it out in the street. We were careful to not park it in a place that would get us a parking ticket. We found a really good spot close to our condo. I went out last night and discovered an orange ticket on the front window. I took the ticket home and did a search online. They had the violation and the car photographed.

The notice for street cleaning was no where to be found. I think that i will contest this violation. I hope that we will not have to pay for this silly parking ticket. There are a few magazines that i consistently read on a monthly basis. I currently subscribe to wired and inc magazine. I like these magazines because i can stay updated on what is going on in the tech business world. I also enjoy fast company because it is young and hip. I used to get news magazines like time and news week, but i prefer getting my news online. I think that it is faster that way. I usually save most of my magazines even after i read them. I am always needing to reference back to older articles. I was wanting to digital copies of these magazines for a long time. I found out that google is indexing all of the older magazines as well. I will either have to pay for that service or buy myself a kindle. I think that have all of the books and magazines on a digital reader is pretty amazing. We will see if the kindle proves to be one of the next gen toys that all consumers must have. We will see if the iphone destroys the kindle market. I think that they can both survive and thrive together in this new digital age. We will see in the near future.

I wonder what the max memory will be for portable hard drives. I am amazed at how technology has progressed through out the years. You can also find a 500 gb hard drive the size of a cell phone. I wonder if they can make a terabyte version of the hard drive at the same size. I wonder what they are doing to the physical mechanics of the hard drive. How is it possible to fit in all that info on such a small space. I often think about those old ibm computers. I read about how the first super computers took up floors in office buildings. Now, virtually ever man and child has a super computer on his desktop. Most of the newer laptops are better then the supercomputers of a few years ago. I guess we are about to reach the max of tech innovations. There has to be a limit of how much progress computers can reach. I wonder if they will be able to make a smart phone that has the power and memory capacity of a laptop computer.

I read about how circuit city is going out of business. So, i went over to their retail store last night to see if i could get some electronics stuff on the cheap. I was surprised to see that the going out of sale sale was bad. The prices were higher then best buy’s regular sale prices. I can totally understand why this ghetto electronics chain is going out of business. First of all, the store is ghetto. Secondly, the staff is ghetto. I remember that i was more knowledgeable then the staff over at circuit city. I think that it’s good that this chain is going out of business. It can be bad for consumers and the economy though. I think that competition is a great thing for consumers. But, if one of the competitors are doing bad with business, it doesn’t really matter. I think that you have to blame the management. Why wouldn’t they update the changes in electronics. They should study how e commerce sites run their business. They should understand the type of products that sale well.
