Bose headphones

August 21st, 2008 by datacraftus

Nothing says “geeky cool” like a nice set up Bose headphones. I have two pairs of Bose Headphone for my listening pleasure. In my home office, i use my Bose tripod headphones. They are perfect for listening to music or getting an acoustic addition for my video game play. I love that the sounds are crystal clear and i love that they fit snug around my ears. I can hear things that normal headphones usually don’t pick up. I was watching a dvd on my computer one day, and noticed some background dialogue that i never heard before. I guess my home speakers didn’t pick that up, but my Bose Headphone did. They are great for taking with you on the airplane. You won’t hear any of the airplane sound. You can take out your laptop and enjoy a nice movie.

I also have a pair of the in ear headphones by Bose. I use these with my Ipod. They are great for working out. You can take them with you for you daily jog. Computer and internet geeks need to gear up if they want to enjoy the full experience of music and video games. Look into getting a set of Bose headphones for yourself.

WarGames the movie

August 21st, 2008 by datacraftus

Remember that early 1980s movie starring Ferris Bueller. WarGames was a movie that i totally loved when i was a little kid. I wasn’t old enough to have a computer of my own back then, but i did pretend that my nintendo could stir up trouble. Back then, computers were really expensive. I didn’t have the balls to ask my parents for a computers. And, i was only interested in video games, so my Nintendo was good enough. I recently saw the movie WarGames. It was pretty cool and it wasn’t as dated as i thought. I thought that i would be watching something that doesn’t make any sense with regard to technology, but the film makers did a great job of staying current for that period of time. A lot of the new computer related films that come out are just bad. The last Die hard flick was god awful.

I think new filmmakers should watch this movie again to get a grasp of how to build suspense and build up to the climax. WarGames was an influential film. Bill Gates and the Google guys all love this movie. In fact, Google even has a showing of this movie at their headquarters for the 25th anniversary.
