The imitating event occurs when Sissi gets hit by the truck causing Bobo to save her life. However this sequence is very unbelievable yet the audience believes it because the abstract suggests a fairy tale. Sissi decides to go to the bank and the exact day that Bobo runs from two unknown men. She brings Otto along, who unknowingly steps on to the street, at the exact moment the driver looks back toward Bobo who has gotten on the back of the truck. Sissi gets run over by the truck and Bobo decides to hide under the same truck as he tries to hide from two men. She is near death and Bobo saves her life by performing a tracheotomy with a straw that Otto was holding. Is this possible? Yes it is possible, however it is not believable. Yet the abstract allows us to have an open mind and go along with the narrative. After the accident, Sissi can not stop thinking about Bobo. This is shown by parallelism when Sissi wakes up thinking of Bobo and Bobo wakes up in the scene after. Was Bobo thinking about Sissi as well? This misleads the audience into thinking Bobo has feelings for Sissi.
