I consider myself to be an internet geek. I know that there is a whole culture associated with the geek movement. We dress a certain way and we prefer certain types of hardware over others. I think Apple and their Mac ads did a great job of marketing the cool geek. Anyway, i was thinking about the drinks that us geeks like to drink. I wanted to list some of them here.

1. Coffee. This is an obvious choice because it gives us energy and is the trendy things right now. A double shot of whatever usually does the trick.

2. Energy drinks. I prefer monster, but i know that red bull is the popular drink.

3. Vitamin water. I don’t know what it is, but i’m addicted to this stuff. It’s like a cleaner version of gatorade. The taste is clean and very refreshing. Too bad it’s so damn expensive. My favorite flavor is 50 cent, and Revive.

I am in the process of installing some computer programs on my new laptop. I have noticed that some programs don’t install on the first try. I work with computers all the time, but still don’t really understand all the files and folders that are associated to a particular program. I wish i was a great programmer. I know that it would make my life a lot easier. It would probably help me make more money with my job.

I wanted to take my shot at developing some programs. I want to learn how this is done. I think that the best way to learn something is by tweaking with it. I learn by example, so i like to reverse engineer or just play around with things to get an understanding of it.

Installing programs to your computer shouldn’t be that hard. I was having difficulty because the programs were not the original copy. I guess during the copy or burn, some crucial install files were corrupted or not copied properly.

What do you think of when you hear the word craft. I am a big time computer gaming geek, so i naturally i think of starcraft. If i dig deeper, i think of spaceships and exotic vehicles. Datacraft-us dot com was started because i wanted to talk about computer and internet stuff. My brain is always interested in geeky things like that. I could have started any type of website, but i decided to start a blog. Why? Because blogs are easy to set up. And, blogging is kind of fun. It’s is already SEOed and visiting are easy to gain. There are a lot of internet geeks. A lot of people blogs now. I think i read that every year, bloggers double up. New blogs are started by the thousands every few hours.

I think that money can be made by blogging. If you want to make money online, you should really consider starting off with a blog. After you start a blog, you will feel more confident to start up other type of websites.

There was a time when phones had to use phone lines. Now, you can call anyone in the world by using your computer’s internet connection. If you have a computer, you can make long distance phone calls all over the world. There is a blog in development called telephonepc. The days of being locked in with you phone carrier is over. The internet and the computer has made it possible for people to take control. Now, most people don’t even have home phone lines. They make calls with their cell phones and other calls using their personal computer.

When you work with computers, it’s good to get up and go for a walk. Sitting in front of the computer for long periods of time is not good for you health. Your eyes will dry out and you posture will get affected. Working in a cubicle isn’t considered to be anyone’s dream. Nowadays, most people have to work in front of a computer. Even people who work in construction find themselves punching away at their computer to draw up estimates or renderings.

I work part time as a web developer and graphic designer. After i’m done with my day job, i come home and head staight to my home office. I sit in front of the computer and work on my next project. I spend a lot of hours during the weekend as well. When i get stuck, or when i’m not feeling very productive, i force myself to go outside for a nice walks. I did that today, and let me just say that it was wonderful.
