I consider myself to be an internet geek. I know that there is a whole culture associated with the geek movement. We dress a certain way and we prefer certain types of hardware over others. I think Apple and their Mac ads did a great job of marketing the cool geek. Anyway, i was thinking about the drinks that us geeks like to drink. I wanted to list some of them here.
1. Coffee. This is an obvious choice because it gives us energy and is the trendy things right now. A double shot of whatever usually does the trick.
2. Energy drinks. I prefer monster, but i know that red bull is the popular drink.
3. Vitamin water. I don’t know what it is, but i’m addicted to this stuff. It’s like a cleaner version of gatorade. The taste is clean and very refreshing. Too bad it’s so damn expensive. My favorite flavor is 50 cent, and Revive.

I just got the new 3g iphone. I bought it last week. The iphone that i bought in December 2007 was put on ebay. My wife also has an iphone. I upgraded her iphone as well. With her phone, i put it up for sale on craigslist. I sold the iphone listed on craigs list within hours of posting. I sold it for $335. I sold my iphone on ebay for $425 with a three day auction. It seems clear that selling on ebay is the better choice. But, maybe i could have gotten more for my wife’s iphone if i waited out. Even tho the iphone already sold, i continued to receive emails asking about the phone. One guy offered to pay $400 for it.
The internet is really amazing. You can sell just about anything. I am in the process of finding a new place to live. I wanted to sell off all the old furniture before we move. Ebay is not practical for selling large items, so i will be listing them on craigs list. I think i could probably make over $1000 for all of my used furniture.

I was out shopping the other day. I saw a lot of computer and internet related t shirts on sale at the mall. I was about to buy a few of those t shirts, but i looked at the price. They were selling t shirts for like sixty dollars. I don’t think that i am that cheap, but sixty dollars for a t shirt is a bit much. I spend a lot of money on computer stuff, but i think it’s a waste to buy clothes. But it made me think. The internet culture has really caught on. Mac computers project the geek vibe to sell computers. They market their product as the cool geek product. I didn’t know that there was such a thing as cool geek.
I guess that our consumer based economy tires to sell everything. Selling culture is the best in my opinion. I think that is one of the reasons why America is the world’s biggest economy. We don’t just sell goods, we sell our culture. China may be catching up, but America will always have culture to sell. That is why internet culture is doing so well. The new batch of kids are more web savvy then ever before. Every kid grows up with a computer and internet connection at home. They are smarter and faster then i ever was. They are more sophisticated and it’s all because of the internet culture.

As i write this post right now, i am selling my iphone on ebay. I think that i can get around four hundred and twenty dollars for it. That seems to be the going rate for iphone that are unlocked on ebay. I am selling the iphone because i just got the 3g iphone. I have to say that it really is the best phone. The internet is fast and usable on my iphone. Before i got the iphone, i owned three different smart phones. I have the blackberry when it first game out too. I love tech gadgets and i love the internet. I think that working online made it a necessity. I talk about this because i believe that the future is in mobile internet.
More and more people use the internet every day. As more nations become developed, they will need to set up websites. Small businesses are getting more involved with internet marketing. If you own a business you really should set up your own website. It’s cheap and easy to create a website. Cell phones are the king of electronics. More and more units of cell phone sell each and every day. If you want to start making money online, look into the mobile internet market.

I have a friend who is interested in starting his own web company. I wouldn’t even say it’s a full on company either. I think he wants to start a simple website to get a feel of how the internet works. I thought it was really wise of him to jump on board the computer and internet bandwagon. So i decided to help him out with setting up his website. I told him that he should start a blog first. I think blogging is a great way to get yourself familiar with the web. It’s a great way to jump right in without much knowledge of html or other types of code.
With blogging, all you need to do is write. Everyone can write. We learned how to read and write for 12 years. That’s not even counting college. If you want to start a new website, i highly recommend starting a blog. It’s fast and simple. You can always upgrade to other types of website. The important thing is to just get started.

Everybody knows what youtube is. A website that isn’t even 3 years old is one of the most popular properties on the internet. YouTube has changed the way people view media online. Before youtube, people had to download video from file sharing site. Youtube made it easy for people to share video clips. I think it’s amazing that something this simple could become so popular. I think the reason that it became popular is that it was so simple. I think that’s what makes the internet so great. If you have a good idea, just set it up. Who knows, it’s could make you a billions. I have been working with my computer and the internet for a few years now. I feel that web business is the way to go. If you are a small business owner, it makes perfect sense to set up your own website. Setting up a website isn’t that hard. All you need is a domain and some web hosting.
You don’t even need a good idea. Just make some simple changes to website already out there. I found a lot of youtube like clones online. I was thinking that anyone could set one up and make at least a few bucks with it.

There are a lot of “make money online” type scams. These programs offer noobies a get rich scheme. Most of these ebooks and useless program take advantage of noobies. Making money online is possible, but it isn’t easy to do. It takes a lot of hard work and time. Like most businesses, internet business needs deep focus. You need to be willing to put in the long hours and sleepless night if you want stable income.
I have been making money online for around 10 months now. I realize that the potential is huge, and that with enough hard work, full time income can be made online. But, this type of business is not for everybody. Not every one is able to make this type of money. If you see ads for get rich schemes, know that they are schemes. If it sounds too good to be true, usually it is. Don’t be fooled by all the hype and all the fake promises.

What do you think of when you hear the word craft. I am a big time computer gaming geek, so i naturally i think of starcraft. If i dig deeper, i think of spaceships and exotic vehicles. Datacraft-us dot com was started because i wanted to talk about computer and internet stuff. My brain is always interested in geeky things like that. I could have started any type of website, but i decided to start a blog. Why? Because blogs are easy to set up. And, blogging is kind of fun. It’s is already SEOed and visiting are easy to gain. There are a lot of internet geeks. A lot of people blogs now. I think i read that every year, bloggers double up. New blogs are started by the thousands every few hours.
I think that money can be made by blogging. If you want to make money online, you should really consider starting off with a blog. After you start a blog, you will feel more confident to start up other type of websites.

It’s hard to escape the olympics. When it is going on, you read, hear, and see it everywhere. I am not that big of a fan of the olympics, but i can’t help but some of the the events. Michael Phelps and the rely was something great to watch. The Redeem team led by Kobe Bryant isn’t that exciting, but it’s good to see the USA back on top.
Right now, i’m watching the high platform divers. It’s really amazing how accurate these divers are. For people who don’t win any medals, it was must be tough to take. You lose events by like a tenth of a second. It’s really amazing. I wish all of these sportsmen success and good luck to all. I hope the closing ceremonies will be nice to watch. If you miss any of the nail biting events, you can watch them on the internet. Isn’t it great to be online? Aren’t computers grand?
